Dear Students!
In the current Erasmus+ funding period from 01.06.2024 within the European Union (program countries), our funding application has been conditionally approved by the DAAD! Since last week Thursday (July 04, 2024) we are creating grant contracts for this Erasmus+ project. 🙂
Note on our own behalf: When creating the Grant and Learning Agreements, we proceed pedantically according to the waiting list, which means that those who have submitted their complete Erasmus+ application first will receive their contract first. All applicants who have received the email “I have just checked your Erasmus+ application for your internship in Sweden (France, Spain, etc.), everything is formally OK.” (or similar words) can assume that you will receive your contract within 4 to 5 weeks (today 08.07.2024). All other applicants who have not yet received this e-mail and whose applications have NOT yet been checked can assume that we will be able to check your application from August 5 at the earliest, regardless of when the internship starts. It always goes in order. Due to the large number of contracts that already have to be drawn up, an earlier review is unfortunately not possible. Please refrain from asking whether a contract can be checked or drawn up earlier due to urgency. It only delays the processing time for EVERYONE, including those who ask. The answer is NO, because it is urgent for everyone.
NEW starting in 2024: Funding for a single internship is possible for up to 120 days, the remaining days are not eligible for funding. If your internship is longer than 120 days, the Learning Agreement (internship contract with the company/internship institution) will usually still be issued for the period you have planned, but not the Grant Agreement.
The DAAD, our sponsor, has not yet given us a binding commitment for the funds from June 1, 2024, but only a verbal commitment subject to reservation. This means that you will also receive your Grant and Learning Agreement “subject to reservation”. We will only sign the grant agreement once we have received the money with legal certainty. The grant agreement from the DAAD will probably not be fully signed until the end of July/beginning of August, as we have learned today, and we will not be able to pay out any scholarship funds for the new project before then. We ask for your understanding and patience!
