Dear Students!

In the current Erasmus+ funding period until 31.05.2024, all funding within the European Union (program countries) has already been used up, so that we currently have no financial resources available to create new grant or learning agreements. However, we will continue to accept your applications; you can find more information in the text below.

Is it possible to postpone your internship?

We would like to point out that we have applied for new funding from the DAAD for the funding period from 01.06.2024. Therefore, please check whether you can postpone your internship so that it starts on 01.06.2024 or later. We do not expect to receive notification from the DAAD as to whether or not we will receive a new funding commitment until early/mid-June 2024 at the earliest. This means that even if we are approved by the DAAD from June 2024, we may only receive the first grant installments with a delay if your documents are complete. Please take this into account in your financial planning.

You CANNOT postpone your internship to a start date after 1 June 2024?

You can still apply for funding. Occasionally, scholarship holders withdraw from their funding for various reasons. Should this result in funds becoming available for the internship period you had planned, we would inform you immediately and ask whether you are still interested. In any case, this would have to be done BEFORE your first internship day, as retroactive funding is not possible. We will put you on a waiting list for these possible cases. However, the probability of moving up from the waiting list decreases the sooner you apply to us for funding before the start of your internship. We are also unable to predict the likelihood of a withdrawal because we do not have a crystal ball to look into.
