The Saxon Student Mobility Program (SSMP) and the Saxon Science Ambassador Program (SSAP) aim to provide financial support for students from the two partner countries as well as for Saxon university staff travelling to India and Taiwan.

SSMP provides financial support for Saxon students during their studies abroad in Taiwan or India. The program also promotes student internships for Indian and Taiwanese students in Saxony.

SSAP offers financial support to academic staff in the event of a research stay in Taiwan and India.

Both programs are funded by the Saxon Ministry of Science, Art and Tourism and are part of Saxony’s initiative to attract skilled workers. In this context, the Free State of Saxony is also investing in the establishment of scientific liaison offices in various priority regions.
