The Alberta-Saxony Internship Program supports the exchange of talent between Alberta, Canada and Saxony, Germany by giving opportunities to young leaders involved in research, technology, and business practices that are working in a wide variety of sectors such as Health, Energy, Environment, Education and Economic Development.
The Alberta-Saxony Internship Program is an opportunity for bright and talented students from Alberta and Saxony to gain valuable work experience in the partner country through a research or industry placement. This work experience opportunity plays an essential role in the students’ professional development and provides them with valuable life experience through challenges and personal growth.
Placements are more common in universities and research institutions, but are also supported in corporations, not-for-profit organziations, and small businesses.
Students that are in their third, fourth, or final year of an undergraduate-level program, alumni, Masters or PhD program may participate.
