Semiconductor Talent Incubation Program Taiwan (STIPT)

You are studying at an eligible university? Then apply for the Semiconductor Talent Incubation Program Taiwan (STIPT). This program is a joint initiative of the Federal Ministry for Research, Technology and Space (BMFTR), the Saxon State Ministry for Science, Culture and Tourism (SMWK), the TU Dresden, and the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Limited (TSMC). It includes a study program as well as practical training at TSMC, a global leader in the semiconductor sector.

The program involves cooperation with Taiwanese universities. Since 2024, the ➚National Taiwan University (NTU) is a partner. In 2025, the ➚National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST or Taiwan Tech) and the ➚National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU) were added. In 2026 the National Tsing Hua University (NTHU) will join the program.
