During and after studying abroad

To ensure the smooth running of your Erasmus+ semester abroad, please provide us with the following information during your stay, in accordance with the requirements of the Erasmus+ program:

• Submission of a Confirmation of Arrival issued by the host university within 10 days after the official start of the semester abroad.
• Notification of a change of address at your place of study or residence (informal notification)
• Notification of a change in your bank details (informal notification)
• Application for shortening or extending your internship (via your Mobility Online account or informally by email to ➚auslandsstudium.leosachsen@tu-dresden.de)

• Information about any problems that have arisen or may arise that could endanger the study period abroad agreed upon in the “Learning Agreement” or the fulfillment of the agreed study requirements
• Notification of a change in the country of stay due to illness (e.g., for treatment in your home country)

Improtant Information regarding changes of plans:

• In the event of a shortening of your semester abroad, please ensure that the new period of stay comprises at least 60 days, excluding the day of arrival and departure. Exceptions are only possible if force majeure can be proven in individual cases.
• The Erasmus+ scholarship contract is only considered fulfilled if a medical certificate from the host country is provided for every sick day.
• If the country of stay is changed due to illness, the scholarship can only be paid for the time spent in the original host country. Periods of treatment in Germany or your home country will not be taken into account when calculating the final scholarship amount and must be reported to Leonardo-Sachsen.
